There are several steps are followed for the process of mercerisation.They are : first the yarn is passing through the process of Singeing(burn superficially or lightly) then from there it pass on to Reeling(Hank making).After reeling it moves to the process of Mercerising followed by Bleaching.
After bleaching the yarn it is made coloring that is Dyeing(adding colors to it).After dyeing it goes to the process of Drying(that is drying the yarn to make it suitable for any cause) and finally the raw Hank Yarn is made.From there further it moves to make the yarn to cone (Hank to cone).This is the process of yarn mercerising. http://yarnmercerising.com/products/
